5-Strand Bennie Ration Necklace

  • Grand 5-Strand Hand, Bear, and Turquoise Necklace - We just donated this piece to the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund at NFR. JLady has donated over $3,000 to charities in 2024. Unique necklace has 5 strands: three of a pale ethereal turquoise and a double thinner strand of lapis, all weaving in and through stamped saucer beads and graphic bears and healing hand pendants, five in all. Bennie Ration was born on the Canoncito Navajo Reservation in New Mexico, the son of a father who had been a silversmith since childhood, and who taught Bennie the art of silversmithing at the young age of eleven. His style reflects the fact that he was a graphic designer in his early career. He began making three-dimensional figures in silver. This is a substantial and beautiful piece you will treasure.
